Abornewords Readers have probably figured out that I have a special place reserved in my heart and on Abornewords for Blog Xilla; he is the Almighty, when it comes to his outspoken attitude and all around charming way of engaging Celebrities. It is high time that Abornewords added some Xilla Testosterone to our FF Men Section using a Blog Xilla Interview with Oscar Winner Common.

To soften you in all the right places and hopefully hit your sweet spot, like Xilla hits mine, we are including this recipe by Chef Lizzie (find more from Lizzie on WebMD.com) called Banana Bash. The Chef recommends changing up food routines and warns against getting trapped into cooking habits which includes common go to foods like hamburgers, macaroni and cheese and chicken stripes. To put a spin on things, Lizzie suggest using an avocado (one of the 20 Cook Yourself Young foods shared by Elizabeth Peyton-Jones) to perk up banana smoothies.

A fun fact is: The first thing Rapper Common did after he was coming off his Oscar Glory high was go to enjoy a smoothie. If a smoothie is good enough for Common's morning after breakfast, then it should be good enough for us.

Here are the ingredients

  • 1 Large Banana
  • 1 Ripe Avocado
  • 8 oz !%milk (alt. soy or almond)
  • 1 tbsp sugar (alt. honey will accent flavor)

I am planning too make breakfast drinks a part of my regular routine. The benefit is that it's healthy and only has 257 calories. Does this seem like something you want to try? Also, the Run All Night Movie is certainly one you should add to your collection. Liam Neeson and Common are the perfect rivals int it.
