When I wrote about Gucci and how the mega brand collaborated with Fiat Cars, slapping their familiar green and red stripe on those cute little cars and on furniture too, I was super excited because of how Gucci was able to connect with consumers in different ways.

Recently, I happen to be browsing online and I noticed that Gucci had some pretty amazing headbands available for sale. Move over Capelli New York (available at Stein Mart) and make room for braided Gucci Headbands. I'm always looking for a way to freshen up my hairdos or to help create longevity with my hairstyles. However, the price tag on Gucci Headbands has me seriously wondering weather I should be investing in an IRA. After all, having Retirement Savings is a smart move, especially with the availability of Social Security for future generations being a matter of question.

Thinking smart when there is a little more money available is not always the course of action that will lead to those feelings of euphoria that go along with a good splurge. However, dropping $300 or more on a Headband seems like a bit much. That's all. Kudos....
