Attending The Small Business Expo really got me pumped about what I do as a Blogger here on Abornewords. Creating content, organizing and managing it takes a lot of hard work. Since I am pursuing more ways to create earning opportunities, I realize I have to start making more appearances and accepting invitations when I get them. That's why when I received a call from Myesha, a Mary Kay Representative who sells under the guidance of Director Gina Allen, stating that I was the winner of a $25 gift card, I decided to attend a meeting. We met at studio called In The Pink where they convene regularly for meetings and follow up consultations. The event went well and the ladies were all so nice. We danced to the Pink Cadillac Mary Kay Song and I joked that the Pink Car Program made me think about the Cheerleader Mom Movie because of the competitive nature associated with selling for Mary Kay and winning access to the Pink Car. I tried the Charcoal Mask product, the primer and the CC Cream. After using the products a few times, I realize that the Charcoal Mask is the product I like best. The Primer and CC Cream made me feel itchy, after a few uses. Seriously, they felt like fiberglass on my skin. How do I know what fiberglass feels like? Let's just say, I was once employed temporarily at a construction site.

Overall, I had a good time since all I ever do is work and take care of business. I got to hear the ladies express their passion for the Mary Kay Products they sell and I watched them receive their rewards for selling and following Mary Kay appearance and performance guidelines. The atmosphere was very professional and welcoming. That's all. Kudos....
