Idaho’s Department of Insurance is seeking input from Insurance Agents/other licensed professionals concerning the Licensure Process. Giving Insurance Agents or others who hold a license for another occupation in the state, a chance to provide input is a huge step forward, since there are many barriers that can delay or hinder the approval of state licenses for various occupational and technical positions offered in the state. If applications are to be processed in a timely manner, effective processes must be followed by those seeking licensure and the Department itself. Insurance Agents or those seeking licensure or professionals who work at the Department of Insurance and are involved in the process in some way should provide feedback so that ideas/suggestions can be reviewed and evaluated. My hope is that by gathering various ideas and input, the licensure process will become even more effective in the years to come. Comments must be completed by May 1st, 2018.
