Walmart Super Center is one of my main stops for grocery shopping. Today we are sharing their latest move, offering consumers healthier snacks.
With so many high calorie snacks to choose from and all of those impulse items surrounding checkout counters, it is definitely necessary to try and create balance, by offering healthier alternatives. Hain Celestial Group is offering those alternatives with their Organic Snacks. In the video, Founder Irwin Simon sits down with Jim Cramer for a segment on Mad Money, to talk about how the brands efforts, to become an Omni Channel Provider, has resulted in marketing at places like Walmart and 7 Eleven. The Hain Celestial Brand like many other brands is realizing that Whole Food Stores are not the only place to market organic foods.
The brand is not a new business on the block either. Queen Helene, one brand from their Personal Care Product Set has been around since the 1930's. The Cocoa Butter Hand & Body Lotion is a product that my family and I like to keep on hand. The 32oz bottle usually last all month long. That is just one of their affordable brands that you may be familiar with and there are so many others.
Keep this in mind when you are shopping and thinking about changes in your lifestyle. Sometimes the small changes in our diet can help get us started on a path to making better choices. Maybe adding a few organic items is just what you need to push you in the right direction.
