The fact that I grew up in New Orleans and also attended a multicultural college and not an HBC has worked to my advantage tremendously, career wise and socially because I relate to all types of people. I am not an extrovert who is totally a social scene butterfly and I might not strike up a random conversation with a stranger. However, in the right setting I flourish. I usually strive at work and keep my productivity up, making contributions more meaningful wherever I can. I love to talk shop with coworkers and our conversations usually involve customer behavior of some sort and what the general flow of our days are like. Conversations shift from what's going on at work to how we are feeling, goals, and what we like to do outside of work. Of course, I often share that I am a Blogger. Every now and then I am privileged to learn a little more about my coworkers, things that I would not have even imagined. That's exactly what happened when I was speaking with Amanda, who has taken on the name Mp3 as a stage name. Here she is performing live in a video.

Amanda is not totally against being a part of the mainstream Music Industry. She is even pondering the idea of using her talent to celebrate marriages. That idea may not really be number 1 on her to do list since the internet of things is changing the game for aspiring Artist. After speaking with MP3 recently, I realized that she is more in love with the idea of creating a community of Super Fans. I am on board and would like you to support her too. As a first step, please leave your comments below or go to her reverbnation page to listen to more of her music.

Kudos....
