At first glance (of Kesha's stage presence) you may not be able to resist getting a little patriotic because she is looking so all American. Before I show you how she put a spin on the red, white, and blue, let's explore her style and lyrics in the video for one of her hits that has over 43 million views on You Tube. We R Who We R is the name of the tune. Is it all about being yourself? You will have to judge for yourself. In the song, Kesha talks about ripped up stockings, looking sexy, and going hard. If that does not sound like being yourself, maybe it sounds like risky fun. Taking a look at Kesha below, it might be easy to believe that she is living her lyrics literally by expressing them in the way she dresses and  also in the way she behaves. Check her out!

The video for We R Who We R obviously puts the party lifestyle amid the flashing lights to show that having a good time can be fun, especially for girls. Kesha's style and presence in the video reminds me a lot of Kelis. The idea of the song being a party song is very similar to Scream from Kelis' latest project to date. The comparison connects because both songs are dance records that go hard. There is always room on the charts for groovy, enjoyable songs. Kesha explained her party girl values in an interview with Maxim. Here's the quote and what Maxim had to accept as a definition and explanation of a party girl. ....."If you mean I’m a walking good time, then hells yeah. But I’m not wasted and stumbling out of clubs and getting DUIs. I’m not that kind of party girl. I may be blonde and fun as balls, but I’m not a moron.

I don't know how you are feeling about Kesha's all American outfit that she so lovely pairs with ripped hose, but all American or not, she still equals pie.
